After finishing school work, I gathered up the trash, put away the dishes, swept the floor, cleaned the litter box, and then headed outside to deal with our water flow issue.  We were back down to a trickle again.  I just lived with it for a week or so because I knew what the problem was and knew it was going to be a hassle to fix.  The interior filter in the basement needed changing again.  It’s the one I had to take to the RV dealership to have fixed last time.  I wasn’t going to do that this time.  I was determined to fix it myself, especially since this is something that will be a part of our routine RV maintenance.  I can’t take the damned sump to the dealership every time I need to change the filter.  I found the perfect tool for the job:  a hammer.  Should have thought of that before.  Basically banged the lid right off the sump cover.  It worked without actually breaking anything.  Replaced the filter, mounted the sump again, hooked everything up again, replaced the exterior filter, and fired her up.  After a little tweaking, the water was flowing freely once more.  Thank goodness.  I took my mosquito-gnawed ass inside and took  the best shower I’ve had in the RV since we moved in two months ago.  Yay!  I’m clean and happy.
