I was in the middle of rousing myself and getting dressed when there was a knock on the door.  Who’s there, you ask?  At 9am on a Sunday Morning?   Comcast.

Comcast burys a temporary lineWhy?  They want to BURY the coax that we have going from our little utility pole to the trailer.  We’re talking 2 – 3 feet on the ground, but then to get up to where it’s connected to the trailer it will stick straight up and nother 2-3 feet.  Again, why?  They prattled off some nonsense about Comcast being liable if someone tripped over the wire and injured themselves.  I told them we’re only here temporarily, but they said they had to.  So I said, whatever.

ComcastLet’s not forget that our water hose and sewer line are also out there, laying on the ground.  Am I liable if some dumbass walks back there and trips over any of it?  I say that’s what they get for walking around behind my house and not having the sense of a peanut if they missed all that crap laying on the ground.

I’m watching these guys and not only did they bury they wire, they took off the one we had and put in a shorter one.  I’m just .. confused and a little pissed.  SEVEN weeks and they couldn’t be bothered to do a f’in thing.  And the last time I called and they decided they could, the appt. they had available wasn’t for another week, but now they sent (of their own volition) TWO.  At 9am on  SUNDAY.  It took them about 10 min.  all they did was lift up some earth and tuck the cable in.  I’m so perplexed.

Okay, I went back and read that over and noticed all the capitalization.  I think I’m more pissed than I thought I was.
