Got up bright and early this morning and I followed Lex to Brooks Ramsey RV where she left her truck to have the fifth wheel hitch and the brake controller installed. Payday, baby, and I can finally afford the hitch! Can’t tell you how excited I am about all this. Without the hitch, the RV was just a really small place to live. With it, the RV is an opportunity for us to travel like we never have before.
At around 4:30, we headed back out to the dealership to go get the truck.
We got there maybe ten minutes to closing, so the mechanic gave us a ten minute, fast and nasty review on how to use the thing, and we left both still not sure we had any idea how to work the hitch. Hrm. We’re going to need to watch that video and try to get the hang of this.
