…that never was. I started this post July 10th. It is now July 21st, just an hour or two from July 22nd.

I’ve meant to and meant to, but getting this post and subsequent posts posted just hasn’t happened.

I’m increasingly frustrated with Comcast. Everyone had a different answer everytime I called, each of them said they’d call me back and it’s not happened yet. But now at least, the message is the same: wait. They’re backed up, nothing can be done about it…blah blah blah. And so I’m forced to wait. It’s been three weeks already.

But about these posts. It’s far too much like work typing this stuff up with my thumbs (like I’m doing now) at the trailer where this phone is the only Internet – aside from a very weak and very slow “james1″ unsecured network that doesn’t connect half the time. And work is stressful and sucky right now, so all I want to do when I’ve got spare moments there is kill stuff in Warcraft. So no updates. But I really do want to be more regular about posting.

So in short:

- I’m commuting to the apt for work. It’s stupid. But the Internet works there. Thankfully my commute isn’t as dreadful as it is for most around these parts – 15, 20 min tops.

- We’re shopping at Walmart because aside from severely overpriced rv dealers, they’re the only game in town for rv accessories. I hate Walmart, and until now I’ve managed to spend less than $100 there in the past 10 yrs.

- We both got desks. MJ found a cart that fits in her space and I found the one pictured. My New Desk The space that MJ has available for a “desk” is about 3′ x 3′, so 36 inches. Most desk widths were all around 47.1-47.5 which made us wonder if there was a furniture convention somewhere that drew up a law making this the new min. width for desks.

- Doing dishes in the trailer pretty much sucks. Water doesn’t stay hot enough for too much. Have resorted to using the tea pot to make more. But again, I’m not doing laundry, so…

- MJ shaved my fro off. I really loved the braids but with my hair type hair was getting loose too easily so I had to take them out after just two weeks and I can’t afford $50 every two weeks to get them redone. And I know it’s not nearly as hot this summer as in other parts of the country/continent, but it’s too hot for that fro, so the Fro Experiment of 2008-2009 ends after 10 months and sevenish inches.

There’s sooo much more, but thumb typing sucks and I’m sleepy. Peace!

Oh!oh!oh! Almost forgot! Appt next week to get hitch installed in my truck!!! MJ rulez, old skool.
