We’ll just call it day 2, because it was our second day of ownership and be done with trying to figure that out.
It was a rough first night in the RV. MJ couldn’t get comfortable and I was uncomfortable with all my mosquito bites, but we made it through. We had to commute back to the office so that I could go to work and took Otis along so that Mo had some private time to explore the RV. Since MJ had barely slept, she took care of a few things now that there was an internet connection again and then took a nap. Work was, work.
When MJ woke from her nap, she ran out to buy some things we needed for the trailer, namely an egg crate and padded mattress cover. The RV queen is definitely NOT the pillowtop king my brother sold us when we first moved to this area four years ago, but with a little help it’ll do.
After I was done with work and MJ had reappeared, we went out for dinner and stopped at the K-Mart for a few more things we needed. Back at the apartment, we loaded up more of our stuff and drove back out to the RV.
I was meant to hook up our tv, but I fell asleep on the couch while MJ unpacked more of her clothes and made up the bed with the new padding and sheets. MJ knew before I did that I wouldn’t get around to the tv.
