Visited my 43things list today and did some housecleaning. A lot of my goals just aren’t feasible anymore given the whole RV plan. I gave up on chickens, goats, rabbits, living in the country, but I acknowledged in my posts that it’s okay to let go of certain dreams and goals if doing so will open up completely new worlds of possibility. I’m at peace with that. I’ll find other ways to live out these dreams. Donating money to livestock rescue or Heifer International, for example. Visiting the breadth of the US countryside rather than buying my own piece of it. Continuing to support local agriculture wherever I find it by buying their products. All these things will allow me to retain the original spirit of my goals while latching onto a new and different one.
