MJ went today to put down a good faith deposit while they work out the financing. We should hear tomorrow. *Fingers crossed* We really cant afford to have me cosign if I need to be in charge of getting the tow vehicle.
If the financing goes through, they’ve agreed to store the rig until we’re ready to move in at the end of June, so we’ve been sorting through our stuff and determining what will stay and what’s getting sold.
That said, I love music. All kinds really, and some more than others of course, and some artists more than others. Since I got my first iPod in 2003 I’ve converted everything I’ve bought into mp3 and more often than not, just buying mp3s and skipping the CD part.
I have CDs spanning approximately 15 years. I’ve thinned out before – using the services of places like Record and Tape Traders when I needed some space or a little extra cash, but nothing like this.
So, I’ve just consolidated the remainder of my entire CD collection into three 7″x6″x5″ boxes. I have just three categories:
So those three, plus 15,000 MP3s makes up my music universe. Here’s to backups never failing!
The next obstacle is computer software…
